Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is designed to further investigate a
recognized environmental condition identified by a Phase I ESA. A recognized environmental
condition means the presence or likely presence of any hazardous substances or petroleum
products on a property (Target Site) under conditions that indicate an existing release, a
past release, or a material threat of a release of any hazardous substances or petroleum
products into structures on the property or into the ground, ground water, or surface water
of the property. Typically, this process involves sampling of soil and / or groundwater at
the Target Site. Safety Tech, Inc. is capable of providing a turn key investigation that
includes the geological research, drilling and installation of temporary or permanent
groundwater wells to obtain soil and/or groundwater samples for laboratory, delineation,
and professional recommendations.
